Kolimat: Record breaking technology.
Kolimat recently sponsored Italy's Simone Origone, (www.simoneorigone.it)
who became the world's fastest man on skis. He surpassed the
impressive speed of 250 kph, a record he set himself and registered
in the Guinness Book of World Records 2009. The courage, passion,
preparation and the technology behind this extraordinary undertaking
are the same elements that support and shape our company and
as such, became the common ground that has enabled us to share
this great victory.
Mission Antarctica.
Antarctica -2.00pm (6.00pm Italy time) January 5, 2008 - four instructors of the Military School of Aosta, reached the summit of Mount Vinson, making an extraordinary achievement that has echoed around the world. This goal was achieved in collaboration with Kolimat, who supplied materials that was able to withstand extreme temperatures of -30 degrees C. Members of the mission succeeded in climbing 4987 meters in 8 days.
